About Joseph
Joseph is an Associate in the Commercial Department of the Firm and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
He graduated in law from Moi University, in the year 2008 before joining Daly & Figgis as a pupil. He was admitted as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2010. Joseph has assisted in the successful completion of several landmark transactions during his time with D&F and has experience in advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Joseph was admitted as a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya in 2010 and is a fully qualified company secretary.
Areas of Practice
Joseph’s main area of practice is commercial law, and he has experience with drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements, advising clients with respect to the establishment of businesses in various sectors in Kenya, carrying out legal due diligence exercises and legal audits of businesses in various sectors in Kenya.
Joseph has advised on licensing and regulatory requirements in various sectors ranging from the energy sector, to the telecommunications sector and also with respect to Kenya’s laws governing the operations of the capital markets
